Political correctness
a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

About

There’s something happening here. What it is ain’t exactly clear…

This is the place where I blow off steam, point out the absurdity and stupidity that surrounds us, comment on things that piss me off, contemplate the meaning of life, and jot down an occasional random thought. Every now and then an epiphany, a revelation, or a moment of genius may find its way here.

I leave it up to the reader to figure out what should be taken seriously since cynicism and sarcasm will be abundant. I’m not going to lead you by the hand. If you no longer possess the capacity for independent thought, sorry about your luck. Opinions expressed within do not necessarily reflect those of the management.

Don’t expect me to be politically correct. Political correctness is an odious concept and an indelible stain on the fabric of modern  society. Should you deem any content in this blog to be politically incorrect, not to your liking or otherwise offensive to your sensibilities, I have just one piece of advice — “Get over it.” Remember, no one can offend you without your permission.

And yes, I got the title and the tagline from the Stephen Stills song, For What It’s Worth, as performed by Buffalo Springfield.  It’s one of the greatest protest songs ever written and is still as relevant today as it was in 1967. “You step out of line, the man come and take you away.”
