no thinking

Political correctness - a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

Monthly Detritus Report (09-12)

Random chatter from the Monkey Mind as it leaps from limb to limb, howls, scratches its balls and flings feces at passersby…

    • Just watched Preventing and Reversing Diabetes Naturally on Netflix. It was very enlightening and increased my understanding of diabetes. I recommend it. The DVD is available at
  • 02
    • Hatha Yoga at Sri Yoga Center. I know it’s S.W.O.R.D. but while Melissa is teaching, our space is Sri Yoga. The energy was great, as was the class.

    • Whipped butter? I’d like mine to be treated humanely.
    • I like it. Dudeism: The Slowest Growing Religion in the World

  • 05
    • Didn’t do my A.M. yoga but planning to take Melissa’s class tonight. That will sort of make up for it. Just a misstep, not a failure.
    • Great Yoga Class at Day Yoga Studio.
  • 06
    • Good practice this morning even if I did cut the meditation short.
    • Vivastra Hatha Yoga — great way to start the day!
    • Great restorative class at Day Yoga Studio. Where was the rest of the class?

    • RT @MensHumor: I don’t have a problem with idiots… I have a problem with the fact that they have an Internet connection.
    • Got my Gnome desktop back and my editor is behaving much closer to my preferences. It isn’t completely right but it’s tolerable. I think Linux would be more mainstream if they wrote documentation that moderately geeky people could understand. We ain’t all uber-geeks.
  • 11
    • It’s time to stop living in fear and proclaim our freedom. “We are free and we shall not live in fear!”

    • RT @nudiarist: Is Naked Yoga for You? (Hell Yes!!)
    • RT @nakedjen: It can be so, so stupid the things we will do to ourselves because we’re afraid. We would never do it to anyone else. Love you just as much.

    • RT @nakedjen: I am not perfect. Neither are you. We are in this together. I’m here to love it out with you. We are all worthy of love and belonging.
  • 17
    • Semi-busy day. Why won’t the PC I’m testing randomly reboot like it did on the user’s desk? I hate it when technology won’t fail.
  • 19
    • Saw today that hospital gift shop has taken down Halloween display and put up Thanksgiving display. Let’s celebrate them in their own season!

    • She brought this up in her “Sacred Life” workshop yesterday. I’ve observed the tendency for people to see only the black and white while the answers and the really interesting stuff are contained in those shades of gray. 500 Shades of Gray ~ Lila Lolling
    • Great yoga class at SWORD (Sri Yoga from 9:15 to 10:45). Still sore from Hatha Yoga yesterday.
    • RT @MandukaYoga: “Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself.” – Bhagavad Gita.
    • RT @Ladygod1va: The problem with naturist activities is their limited scheduling, example: be able to swim when I have time, not fixed weekly 2 hour slot.
