When my backdoor neighbor erected a privacy fence around his backyard it got me to thinking about my ideas for creating a private space in my backyard once again. I procured a few fence posts and some clamps, pulled a few tarps out of storage and threw this together:
At this point it’s a work in progress which will improve over time. I can easily take it down and put it back up and I really only expect to be able to use it a few hours a week, probably on the weekends but it’s a start.
After I put it together, naturally I had to make use of it. It fulfills its purpose. Fortunately, I don’t get many visitors but I’ll post a sign just in case.
I oughta be able to say something pithy but, damned if I can think of anything while I’m laughing so hard!
Ok,ok, how about ‘Oh look, it’s a Rick-in-a-Box!’ or ‘We’re gathered together here today to send the Dearly Departed on his way…’ no,no ‘Just add charcoal and roast slowly for twelve hours or until tender’ ooh ooh ‘It’s an Upside Down Rick, so easy to grow!’.
God, I kill myself sometimes!
It may not look like much but it’s cheap, it’s functional and it serves its purpose. You have to do what you can with what you’ve got.
So sorry, it actually looks pretty much like our deck when we wrap it!

I just put up a 6 foot privacy fence and pretty much use the whole backyard nude. I know this isn’t always an option but it works well for me. I have had one of my neighbors come around back once while my wife and I were sitting there nude but oh well. He knows to knock or he may get an eyefull! I talked to him and he knows we are nudists and go to the local nudist park on the weekends. He has even said he might go up there one weekend. I kind of doubt it but hey you never know.
The main problem with this world is next door neighbors with two-story houses!
